Banks remain open on 29th, 30th and 31st March 2013 with extended hours (upto 8 pm) to facilitate the tax payments. Even Service tax and Income Tax departments will remain open on these days.

Very good! For collection of taxes, Government and banks works overtime, even on holidays.

Have you ever seen DC Office, Taluk Office, Post Office or any other government department working late hours to facilitate the welfare of the people?

How nice it would have been, if the Government extends this philosophy to other departments

• For contesting an election as a candidate a person must be registered as a voter.
