Across parties you can find elders holding positions and by means they are ready to reconcile for an advisory role.

Look at the age our netas – Dr Manmohan Singh (81 Years), Sushilkumar Shinde(72), A K Antony (73), Sharad Pawar(73),  L K Advani (86), Jaswant Singh (76), H D Deve Gowda (80), Karunanidhi (89), Janardhana Poojari (76), Dharam Singh (77), Mallikarjuna Kharge (71) and the list goes on.

Jobs:

• Not just that the Central Government was ready to increase the retirement of government Officials from 60 years to 62 years.
• The manifesto released by Samajwadi Party yesterday is talking of increasing the retirement age of Government Officials to 65 years!

Youth In India: It is estimated that India has more than 65% of its population below the age of 35 years.

So, where is the empowerment of Youth is happening? Not in Politics, Not in Government Jobs. If the Youth of this country has to find jobs or self employment privately, then where is the question of empowering youth by the Politicians or netas?

Yes, empowerment is happening in one place; that is in the ‘speeches of politicians’.
