• Opening and Closing hours of all establishments in Bangalore city: 6 am to 8 pm
• Young persons and woman shall not be employed during night, between 8 pm to 6 am. (Young Person means a person who is not a child (below 14 years) and who has not completed his 18 years)

If this is the rule, how come Software companies are working during night shift?

• By amending act in 2001, they gave exemption from the above rule to Software Companies.
• However, IT companies have to provide facilities of transportation and security to such women employees
